Job Role: Business Analyst
Experience: 10-12 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with product owners, architects, development teams, and stakeholders on an enterprise grade Treasury platform. The role involves end to end requirements ownership, Agile delivery support, and hands on involvement in acceptance testing to ensure high quality, business aligned solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge in Treasury, solid technical understanding, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and a pragmatic, hands on mindset.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product owners, senior BAs, architects, developers to understand and prioritize business requirements
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, actionable workflows and user stories
• Support solution design by bridging gaps between business needs and technical execution
• Own and drive acceptance testing: prepare test scenarios, validate deliverables against acceptance criteria, and ensure stakeholder sign off
• Validate business logic, analytical correctness, and end to end workflows across developments
• Define and validate Definition of Done and ensure delivered functionality meets requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with the scrum team to support iterative delivery
• Conduct demos of completed features for stakeholders and clients
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation (requirements, workflows, decisions)
• Support client issues, manage changing priorities, and mentor junior team members where required

Must Have Skills & Experience
• 10–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Treasury domain (mandatory), with exposure across front office, middle office, and back office functions
• Strong knowledge of Treasury products and financial instruments such as CCS, IRO, IRS, Repo, FX, FRA, Money Market, including trade lifecycle and cash flow understanding
• Good understanding of market data feeds and providers, including rates, curves, FX, and reference data usage
• Hands on experience with Agile BA practices, including user stories, story mapping, and acceptance criteria
• Experience with testing and validation, including acceptance testing, test planning, defect tracking, and UAT support
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

• Basic knowledge of SQL queries, databases, and stored procedures
• Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent)

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification in a finance related discipline
