Key Responsibilities
Technology & Delivery Leadership
- Lead the Microsoft/.NET practice strategy across modern engineering initiatives.
- Architect and guide end-to-end product/platform solutions using .NET Core/.NET 6+, Azure PaaS services, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
- Define coding standards, reusable patterns, and performance benchmarks for Microsoft stack solutions.
- Drive AI-first engineering practices to enhance productivity, predictive capabilities, and autonomous system behavior
- Collaborate with UI, DevOps, Data, QA, and Product teams to deliver high-performing, secure, and scalable platforms.
Cloud-Native & Platform Engineering
- Drive cloud-native architecture using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, API Management, etc.).
- Champion API-first, container-first, and automation-first principles across programs.
- Evaluate and integrate modern frameworks (e.g., Blazor, Orleans, Dapr) into platform solutions.
Talent Development & Hiring
- Build and scale a strong team of .NET engineers, architects, and solution leads across regions.
- Hire and mentor talent aligned with Microsoft engineering best practices and cloud-first thinking.
- Establish a continuous learning ecosystem through labs, bootcamps, certifications, and brown bags.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support
- Support large-scale RFPs, RFIs, and client pursuits with architecture blueprints, cost estimations, and proposal defense.
- Collaborate with business teams to position Microsoft stack solutions as transformation enablers.
- Create differentiated value propositions through IP/accelerators and innovation stories.
COE & Practice Enablement
- Own the .NET COE playbook, reusable components, architectural reference models, and best practices.
- Contribute to internal knowledge platforms, tech communities, and thought leadership.
- Stay ahead on evolving trends such as .NET 8, MAUI, AI integrations with Microsoft stack, and cloud-native DevSecOps.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Deep expertise in .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8, C#, Entity Framework Core, Web APIs, and asynchronous programming.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services: App Services, Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, AKS, Logic Apps, etc.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and observability tools.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure OpenAI services.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, Intelligent automation, and Low-code extensibility on Azure.
- Previous ownership of product/platform lifecycle, from ideation to scale.
- Exposure to ISO/SOC-compliant solution architectures for regulated industries.
