New York City

Morgan Stanley’s Equity Capital Markets (ECM) platform advises clients on the origination, structuring, and execution of public and private equity offerings globally. Within ECM, the Equity Syndicate team plays a pivotal role in bringing transactions to market—drawing on industry leading knowledge and experience to serve as the critical link between ECM clients and the global investor base.

The Equity Syndicate Execution (SyndEx) team operates at the center of this process, overseeing the end‑to‑end execution of complex equity transactions. The team evaluates transactions holistically to ensure client objectives are achieved with precision, efficiency, and adherence to the firm’s regulatory and operational standards.

  • Partner with ECM to support the origination, structuring, and execution of public and private equity transactions
  • Own key elements of deal execution, including transaction setup, workflow management, and coordination across internal systems
  • Serve as a point of contact with global syndicate partners to ensure alignment throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Work closely with Operations teams to manage trade bookings, settlement, and transaction mechanics
  • Engage with Legal and Compliance partners to ensure transactions are executed within regulatory and firm frameworks
  • Develop and maintain analytics around ECM revenues, transaction economics, and deal pipeline visibility
  • Lead and support technology and process‑enhancement initiatives to improve execution efficiency and scale across Syndicate and the broader ECM franchise

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial services, capital markets, sales and trading, operations, or a related discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated an extraordinary level of motivation, work ethic, intellectual curiosity, strong judgment, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in time‑sensitive environments
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information and take ownership of multiple workstreams
  • Collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset with a track record of effective cross‑functional partnership
  • Clear, concise, and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series licensing required or ability to obtain
  • New York City–based
