We have immediate openings for "Jr Engineer" for our Reputed MNC Client located in Bangalore.

Job Summary:

Create detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and illustrations from CAD wire-frame or solid models. The position requires through knowledge of accepted tool design tolerances, dimensioning methods, and drawing layout conventions use for manufacturing of machine parts. The drafter is responsible that all document information is accurate and updated following established procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works with engineering management, project engineering, design engineers or machine designers to create accurate 2D drawings, assembly drawings or illustrations that are neat and well laid out. The drawings will contain all the necessary information to produce a quality part. Major and critical dimensioning (GD&T; T) will be used when applicable and correct tolerance and cost will be considered when detailing. Details will follow established methods and be accomplished in a
timely manner.

2. Efficient usage of CAD and computer systems. Understands the tools, procedures, methods, and available software to perform the job responsibilities.

3. Checks manufacturing and sales drawings for completeness and accuracy.

4. Maintains flexibility and cooperation in completion of all miscellaneous tasks (cross sections,
qualification measurement, database load, print room organization, manuals, print making and copying, or any activity associated with the development and documentation of tooling).

5. Support product test by coordinating with reliability lab (write test request, gather test sample,
board etc.)

6. Strong English verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

7. Understand, support and contribute to current Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety
(EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

8.. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skill Sets:

1. Experience in Engineering change management and drawing updation process

2. Experience in drafting components by using Seimens Nx tools.

3. Proficient in creating 2D drawings from 3D solid models

4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point

5. Analytical ability to apply logical reasoning, test assumptions, observe results and make corrections

6. Strong English verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express
   complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
