Job Title: Procurement NON-IT Category Manager

Intro:
The Non IT procurement category manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for Professional Services such as consulting services, finance services, human resources services, contingent labor, and facilities management, The ideal candidate will have experience managing supplier relationships, building internal relationships with key stakeholders, be capable of driving cost savings, negotiating vendor contracts, and aligning solutions with CSC’s overall business objectives. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working in ERP systems like Oracle and SAP, creating purchase requisitions, troubleshooting purchase order and invoice issues to resolution on a timely basis acting with a sense of urgency when required. This position reports into the leader of the Non-IT category portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for NON-IT products and services, including sourcing, tendering, purchasing, and contract management.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to understand and prioritize business requirements, ensuring the procurement strategy aligns with organizational goals & objectives.
- Prepare RFPs / RFQs, ensuring clarity of business requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key vendors and service providers.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts, terms, and conditions, ensuring favorable pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, data governance, legal and our strategic partner Genpact to ensure the timely and successful delivery of procurement projects and processing of invoices.
- Manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Implement effective cost control measures and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Track and report on savings and cost reduction initiatives, ensuring that targets are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in procurement, focusing on professional services procurement and category management.
- Experience using SAP S/4 Hana or Oracle required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model: 3 days in Bangalore, India HQ office, 2 days remote per week.
- Occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings, conferences, or industry events.
