We have immediate openings for "Product design Engineer" for our Reputed MNC Client located in Bangalore.

It supplies a variety of industries, including the telecom, data com, computer and peripheral, automotive, premise wiring, industrial, consumer, medical and military markets.

About Position:-
Position: " Product design Engineer "
Qualification: BE/B.Tech
Experience: 2-4yr.
Location:-Bangalore

Position Summary:

Carryout product sustenance activities, R&D group along with other documentation as necessary and highlighted by the Manager.

Skills:

1. Experience in 3D modelling
2. Experience in 2D drafting
3. Drawing Reading capability
4. 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D conversion
5. Pro/E, NX, OSDM, Software knowledge and
6. SAP basic knowledge would be added advantage
7. Basic knowledge on New Product Development
8. Basic knowledge on Product Design
9. Hands on ECR and ECN a must
10. Team performer
11. Exposure to Global teams
12. Good Communication skills. (Written and Spoken)
13. Good Logical thinking capabilities
14. Good Problem solving capabilities
15. Knowledge on DFMEA and hands on will be an added advantage
16. Good knowledge on GD&T.
17. Hands on with Plastics and Sheet metals.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Carry out Engineering Change Management.
2. Carry out Customer / Vendor drawing creation.
3. Migration of 3D model to 2D drawing and
4. Legacy conversion of 2D drawing to 3D model.
5. Follow up with Vendors for samples during the design change.
6. Create Engineering Specifications, Instruction specification, packaging and Product

Specifications.

1. Prepare schedules for projects and follow up with supply chain, manufacturing, qualityand product management teams to ensure that the time, cost and quality goals areachieved.
2. Help senior engineers with designs, drawings, preparing engineering documents etc…
3. Brainstorming as and when required.
4. Participate in Lean activities wherever assigned.
5. Work towards continuous improvement in all area
6. Ensure Dept. compliance with all Molex policies & procedures
7. Support all company focal points as required
8. Any other projects/work assigned by management
9. Knowledge on Molex Quality Management System (QMS)
10. Knowledge on Molex Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
11. Ensure 6S in the office area and on the Servers.
12. Preparation of presentations and involve in the weekly global calls to update on the project to the full team.
13. Ensure the projects time lines are met without any compromises.
14. Ensure full project documentation on the Share Point Sites.
15. Also carry out all activities mentioned by the Manager.
16. Job assigned needs to be accomplished within stipulated time.
17. Will be also working with the operations in the assembly lines based on the projects.
