We have openings for the position of " Product Specialist” for a reputed MNC client for Bangalore location
Job Description
Job title: Product Specialist
Job Location: Bangalore
Qualification : College Degree. Additional qualification in marketing or sales would be an added advantage
Roles and Responsibility
- Timely support on product line(s) query, such as 3D models / drawings, material info, agency data, different versions of product, customer spreadsheets, web info, samples, PPAP, book pricing, PCN's etc.
- Pricing support on product line(s), such as approving end customer pricing for CM's, executing product manager pricing strategy in vendavo, managing deals etc.
- Carry out basic distribution activities on product line(s), such as design registrations, etc
- Work and manage simple MOD's and SPO's on product line(s), such as FMLB, voids, colors, longer tails, packing etc.
- Typical product manger SAP maintenance on product line(s), such as part no. loading, sales status etc.
- Support application tooling requests for product line(s), such as identifying correct tools, test plugs etc.
- Technical briefing to GSM / customer / distributor on product line(s) FAQ, such as current sharing, hot plugging, PS briefing, soldering profiles, packing spec etc.
- Escalate large opportunities to global product manager
- Monitor pricing requests to avoid cascade effects, escalate large opportunities to global PM
- RPM maintenance as required
- Sample approvals according to global PM guidelines

- Technical aptitude
- Strong communication and presentation skills with good English
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.

- Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts.
- Self-motivated, proactive and goal oriented.
- Leadership ability as needed coupled with tactical management
- Organized and forward thinking with good PC skills.

- Interest in working with people around the world
