About our Client:

Our client is a manufacturer of electronic interconnectors. It sells products, including everything from electrical and fiber optic interconnect solutions, to switches and application tooling it supplies a variety of industries, including the telecom, data com, computer and peripheral, automotive, premise wiring, industrial, consumer, medical and military markets. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement indirect sourcing/procurement strategies.

• Strategically source all Indirect commodity parts and/or services and MRO needs.

• Work with Internal customers ( user department) to gather the material/service requirements

• Solicit Bid,proposals ( RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFS) and review requistions for Goods and services

• Follow the competitive bidding process     

• Identification and selection of vendors for Indirect commodities/services. Set up process for vendor onboarding.     

• Maintain approved Vendors List for Indirect material/service    

• Spend analysis and categorization of spend on monthly basis    

• Lead Supplier negotiations     

• Release PO, follow up for the delivery,laision with Freight forwarder and customs agents, track the shipment until delivered to store. Address payment related queries and documents as per the set process and procedures.     

• Maintaining the Documents / House keeping     

• Cradle to grave contract management including preparation of competitive Bid packages, analysis of response, contract drafting,document routing,contract management, and vendor performance management     

• Ensure freight forwarders meet transit times as per contract, conduct timely reviews & take appropriate steps for corrections     

• Ensure Customs brokers carry out customs clearance as per contract time period. conduct timely reviews & take appropriate steps for corrections     

• Maintenance of special import licenses / notifications and co-ordination with the commercial department for the same.     

• Ensure compliance to laws governing freight movement and customs clearance 

• Ensure Dept.compliance with all policies & procedures    

• Ensure updation of DMB/KPI's with status and PDCA on a monthly basis  

• Maintain QS, IS, TS , ISO14001, compliance to legal requirement of EMS, procedures and practice.     

• Complaince to EMS & EICC requirement in the respective areas    

• Assist Assistant Manager Purchase on Trend Analysis of Major Materials/ Category and Strategy formulation,

Qualifications: Any Diploma/Graduates

Experience: - 2 to 6 yrs
