We have immediate openings for "Purchase Manager" for our Reputed MNC Client located in Bangalore.
About Position:
We are inviting applications from experienced candidates for the post of Purchase Manager , preferably from engineering services background, for our Bengaluru location. Desirable experience would be 10+ years in Procurement operations.
As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. Also includes dispatching of goods to customers in India and abroad.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead Procurement department in handling day-to-day operations.
- Streamline Procurement activities and create a positive working environment, where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
- Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Mentor and guide the support departments.
- Knowledge on finalizing fright for export.
Education and Experience
- Engineering (B.E / B. Tech) and any Management degree or equivalent discipline (preferably full-time from a renowned management institute).

- Highly organized, self-starter.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze problems, resolve issues, and multi-task.
- Proven ability to influence all departments, management and employees.
- Knowledge of Export and Import rules and regulation and ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of LC from banks and its negotiators.
- Laisoining with Govt Authorities for CT-1 Bond.
- Knowledge on Bill of ladding
