We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about resident-centered care, clinical leadership, and teamwork in a supportive long-term care environment.

The Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care, medication administration, and day-to-day supervision of C.N.A. staff on the unit. Working closely with the Assistant Clinical Coordinator (ACC) and Director of Clinical Services, the RN/LPN ensures the highest standards of quality care, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:
Clinical Care & Resident Support
- Provide direct nursing care, treatments, and medication administration.
- Implement, check, and evaluate resident care plans.
- Conduct daily resident rounds and check changes in condition.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians, families, and leadership.
- Ensure medical records and documentation are complete, correct, and compliant.
- Monitor medication storage, administration, discrepancies, and stop orders.
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and delegate assignments to C.N.A. staff.
- Assess staff skills and ensure adherence to job descriptions.
- Aid with onboarding and training of new nursing staff.
- Promote infection control practices and safety standards.
- Give and receive shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
- Assume unit leadership responsibilities in the absence of the ACC.
Care Coordination & Compliance
- Aid with admissions and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external consultants.
- Participate in surveys and regulatory inspections.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, complete incident reports.
- Attend meetings, committees, and required in-services.
- Support a warm, respectful, and person-centered care environment.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Massachusetts
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Skills & Experience
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and work collaboratively with nursing staff.
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and colleagues
- Ability to run basic office equipment and electronic medical systems.
