The Senior Adobe Analytics Developer is responsible for aligning measurement strategy, developing data layers, governing environments, integrating with MarTech stack, configuring analytics, and ensuring data compliance while creating insightful reports.
Senior Adobe Analytics Developer
Responsibilities- Discuss with business stakeholders, align measurement strategy to business outcomes (KPIs, events, conversions), drive maturity & activation
- Develop / modify data layer (event schema, identity strategy) spanning digital properties, mainly website.
- Govern environments: DEV/STAGE/PROD, tag deployment workflows, sandbox usage, versioning, and release controls.
- Integrate with broader MarTech stack (AEP, CJA, Audience Manager, Journey Optimizer, CRM, CDP, consent tools, server-side tagging, whichever applicable).
- Lead tagging and instrumentation: page views, SPA route changes, custom events, content interactions, and form analytics.
- Configure eVars/props/events, classifications, calculated metrics, segments, and Virtual Report Suites.
- Set up Adobe Launch/Tags rules, extensions, and server-side forwarding where applicable.
- Define data layer specs; build robust tagging via Adobe Launch; govern environments and releases.
- Create Workspace dashboards; automate insights and feeds.
- Build products/data feeds (Data Warehouse, Analytics APIs, feeds to BI/data lakes) and govern data quality (validation plans, anomaly detection).
- Enable self-serve insights with Workspace projects, scorecards, cohorts, pathing, fallout, contribution analysis.
- Creating daily/weekly/monthly reports as per business requirements
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix the configuration and integration issues.
- Actively ensure GDPR compliance for Data collection in line with brand policies.
- Manage expectations in Data Extraction from any analytics tool & reporting delivery and implementation efforts
Core Technical
- Expert in Adobe Analytics (Workspace, metrics/eVars/props/events, attribution, segments).
- Hands-on with Adobe Launch/Tags, Adobe Web SDK, Edge Network,
- Experience with server-side tagging and identity/ECID strategies.
- API fluency: Adobe Analytics Reporting API, Target Delivery API; integration patterns with CDP/CRM.
- Data pipeline familiarity (batch/stream), data quality frameworks, and analytics governance.
- Designing scalable tagging architectures, sandbox strategies, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD for tags).
- Solution design documents, sequence diagrams, and architecture maps.
Business Skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills with track record of engaging with business project leads
Proficiency in MS Excel should understand formulas and pivot tables
Independent personality who can quickly ramp up, determine plan of actions, resolve issues, and strive towards the goal with minimal assistance
- Bachelor’s /Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
