The Market Research Senior Specialist is instrumental in collecting and analyzing customer insights to inform business decisions and enhance the customer experience. This role is responsible for executing research projects, interpreting complex data, and providing actionable recommendations to drive operational improvements and advance strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities- Conduct customer research studies using Voice of Customer (VoC) platforms and established qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
Design and recommend appropriate qualitative and quantitative research approaches, integrating multiple methodologies to answer complex business questions.
- Develop clear, visually compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, relevance, and data integrity across all research outputs and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, scope, and align research objectives and business questions.
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness of research reports and dashboards, incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Analytics and external research agencies, to translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Contribute to the development of the customer research road map, prioritizing studies based on strategic business needs and impact.
- Stay current on industry best practices, methodologies, and emerging customer research tools to continuously improve research quality and impact.
Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior researchers or cross-functional partners on research design and insight interpretation.
Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Market Research or Customer Experience roles.
- Familiarity with VoC/Customer Experience platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Forsta).
- Familiarity with Research tools (e.g., Dovetail, Recollective).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Proficiency in creating insight-based reports and dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood language.
Preferred Skills
Experience in B2B or professional services environments.
- Knowledge of global data compliance and privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and advanced analytics techniques.
