As a Software Test Engineer, you will design and execute test plans, identify bugs, and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure software quality.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products before release.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Review system specifications and provide feedback to improve testability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
