The Payment Hub Technical Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the end‑to‑end technical implementation of payment hub platforms for enterprise clients. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java scripting (JavaScript) and Groovy, along with deep experience in integrating complex payment systems across multiple channels, clearing networks, and banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute technical implementations of payment hub products, including configuration, customization, and integration activities
Design and develop custom scripts, extensions, and workflows using Java scripting (JavaScript) and Groovy to meet client-specific requirements
Collaborate with solution architects and business teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Develop and support integrations with external systems, including core banking systems, channels, clearing & settlement systems, and third‑party services
Configure and customize payment flows for domestic, international, real-time, batch, and high‑value payment types
Support data mapping, message transformation, and validation for industry standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, XML, JSON, and proprietary formats
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT, including defect analysis and resolution
Assist in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during implementation and post‑go‑live phases
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, design artifacts, and implementation runbooks
Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to internal teams and client stakeholders
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in Java scripting (JavaScript) and Groovy for enterprise application customization and automation
Good understanding of payment hub architectures, payment orchestration, routing, validation, and exception handling
