About Position:
Position: “Purchase Executive "
Experience: 3-4yr.

Job Description:
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for Purchase of all indirect material to plant based on end user complying with procurement practice.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Strategically source all indirect commodity parts and/or services and MRO needs.
2. Work with Internal customers (user department) to gather the material/service requirements.
3. Solicit Bid, proposals ( RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFS) and review requisitions for Goods and services
4. Identification of vendors and selection
5. Maintain approved Vendors List for Indirect material/service
6. Spend analysis and categorisation of spend on monthly basis
7. Release PO, follow up for the delivery, liaison with logistics, track the shipment until delivered to store
8. Inventory management
9. Track, monitor and achieve set department goals.
10. Premium Freight tracking and monitor
11. Ensure updating of DMB with status and PDCA on a monthly basis
12. Maintain QS, IS,TS procedures and practice
13. Participate in Lean six sigma activities wherever assigned.
14. Comply to EHS requirements and participate in EHS initiatives
15. Participate in emergency preparedness and other initiatives from Environmental Core team, Emergency Response Team and legal team
Skill Sets & Competencies:
1. Hard Core exposure to Purchasing functions
2. Knowledge of import procedures, formalities and local statutory Levis etc.
3. Good Analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
4. Knowledge of ERP system
5. Knowledge of QS/IS/TS quality systems & Environmental Management systems
6. Exposure to inventory management and control
7. Knowledge of manufacturing process, value Engg and reverse Engg
QualificationsDiploma/BE (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)
