What Facility and Security Technology contributes to Cardinal Health

Security implements measures to safeguard the company's assets from circumstances and threats that would cause harm or loss.

Facility and Security Technology provides technical solutions for facility and security risk management. Creates security standards and deploys technology, including, but not limited to security systems, facility technology/ smart buildings, and the cyber-hardening of these devices.

Job Requirements

  • Provide intermediate to expert knowledge and support for all systems supported by the department – 15% 
  • Assist Supervisor to create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and maintenance thereof – 10% 
  • Manage ServiceNow ticket queue to ensure resolution within SLA parameters – 20% 
  • Perform project and service programming, third-party service vendor scheduling, and remediation of service issues – 30% 
  • Complete tasks as assigned by Facility and Security Technology management – 10% 
  • Complete daily operations, conducting routine maintenance and performance analysis on supported systems – 20% 
  • Participate in hardware/software lifecycle management – 5% 

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of IP CCTV and access control system troubleshooting is essential
  • Must be Lenel OnGuard and Milestone Systems Certified
  • Essential networking skills include understanding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing and must have ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues

  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts
  • Must provide on call support to our clients
